Practical Risk Solutions

Brendan Pringle

Director, WHSEQ Consultant

Brendan began his career in 2006 in the complex and high-stakes world of insurance fraud investigations. Over 16 years, he developed a deep understanding of how workplace incidents can impact people’s lives — not just on paper, but emotionally and financially. Working so closely with injured workers and the often grim realities of post-incident claims took a toll on his own mental health. Witnessing the “aftermath” of workplace failures drove him to seek out a career where he could contribute to prevention, not just response.

In 2021, Brendan made a career-defining shift into the WHSEQ (Work Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) space. It was here he discovered a new passion — driving proactive safety culture and system improvements before harm occurs. After 18 months of rapid growth in the industry, Brendan and fellow safety professional Andrew saw an opportunity to deliver something better. PRSNT was founded from that shared vision: a consultancy that puts quality, integrity, and client relationships at the forefront.

Now in its second year, PRSNT is growing sustainably, earning a reputation for delivering high-quality systems and hands-on service. Brendan brings a no-nonsense, high-performance mindset to everything he touches — whether that’s building robust WHSEQ systems or detailing cars to professional standards.

Outside the consultancy, Brendan’s downtime involves smoking meats, working on cars, and spending time with his family enjoying the great outdoors around Darwin. He spent three years as a Garmin Marine Ambassador, driven by a passion for products he believes in — the same drive that underpins every PRSNT project. Brendan also runs Darwin Shine Cartel, his own professional automotive detailing business, and is a certified Pro-level coating applicator through Angelwax Australia.

Whether it’s WHSEQ, motorsports, or marine navigation, Brendan is known for one thing: doing it properly or not at all.
