Andrew’s journey into safety began on the frontlines — starting his career with Bullivants, a national leader in height safety, lifting, and rigging solutions. This early hands-on experience ignited a passion for making work safer in a practical, no-nonsense way. He quickly became known not just for his technical knowledge, but for his unwavering commitment to looking after people.
Over the years, Andrew built a strong reputation across Darwin as the go-to guy for safety — someone who understands the realities of high-risk industries and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of workers. He doesn’t just talk safety; he lives it.
That commitment became very real on two separate occasions in the NT. On one site, Andrew’s fast thinking and application of CPR and a defibrillator helped save a Territorian’s life. On another, faced with a traumatic leg amputation onsite, he used his own crocodile-skin wedding belt as a makeshift tourniquet — controlling the bleeding long enough to give the worker a fighting chance. These moments shaped his perspective and further fuelled his dedication to making sure no one ever ends up in those situations without the right controls, training, and support.
Andrew co-founded PRSNT alongside Brendan to create something different — a safety consultancy grounded in real-world experience, genuine relationships, and a desire to raise the standard across the board. He knows that client trust is earned, not assumed, and prides himself on exceeding expectations with every job.
When he’s not on-site or supporting clients, Andrew is immersed in the Territory lifestyle. You’ll find him fishing, camping, enjoying motorsport, or brewing up his latest small-batch beer. He lives and breathes the NT — and it’s that same local pride and people-first mindset that he brings to every project.
